** Thank you for joining Congregation Ahavat Olam for our musically uplifting weekly Shabbat services. **
Tonight's Sermon: “Mitzrayim (Egypt) and Tzirim (the pains of childbirth),
A Powerful Metaphor for a Journey from Confinement to Liberation; from the Pains of Childbirth to the Joyous Arrival of a New Life.
Sermon excerpt: ”Just as in a typical pregnancy, when the water breaks and a new baby is born, in the Creation story, God separated water from water, and the world was born. Similarly, in the Exodus story, after the splitting of the water, the Israelites' nation was born.” - Rabbi Idan
Music is an integral part of Congregation Ahavat Olam and on this Shabbat, known as Shabbat Shira (The Sabbath of Song), we are excited to welcome Tutti Druyan and Ron Druyan for another musically uplifting Shabbat service.
